DIY: Easter table settings
Now we are approaching Easter by leaps and finally it is starting to feel like spring is on the way. To brighten your Easter set tables with a little extra, we have used the wallpaper “Hide and Seek” from Norwegian Scandinavian Surface cloth. Simple, stylish and durable.
Instead of the usual pots, it is fine to plant spring flowers in cups and bowls. Or, as in the picture, in an old gravy boat.
This year, I will skip the traditional Easter decorations and add instead some birch twigs directly on the table as decoration.
It is so nice to mix different colours and materials. Here are intermingled Swedish Grace-Green with Anna-plates, Höganäs jars and a mini casserole from Le Creuset.
The little pennant-garland is super easy to make and is really decorative. Just fold coloured paper twice, cut small triangles and adhere to a charming piece of string. Try to make a pattern in which you mix up every third colour. It will be much more alive if you do not care about symmetry.
