Photowall favorites – Ida

9 April, 2013

For you to get to know people on Photowall little better, periodically short interviews will pop up here on the blog. First one is Photowalls marketer Ida, who likes warm colors and 60’s teak wood at home. Favorite designs in the range include Julia Pott and Michael Mullan.

Ida, can you tell us a bit more about what you’re doing at Photowall?

– I started at Photowall for just over four years ago, and during those years I have managed to do some work in the print shop, some with imaging and a lot with customer service. Now i committed myself to marketing and very happy with it, but I’m very happy that I have got to try multiple departments and functions here at Photowall.

What is kind of interior style do you have at home?

– My interior style is quite functional and I very rarely buy anything I do not have a use for. Me and my partner live in an apartment of 34 square meters and it means some limitations of course. At home it is teak wood and subdued but warm colors dominate.

What is your favorite motif at Photowall?

– I like all of Julia Pott and so I’m very fond of this bear by Michael Mullan. I am also eager to put up any of the different motifs with birds from Lost Bird Design in my sleeping space at home.

What are your best decoration tips?

– Plan your decor by how light falls, dark furniture devours so much light in an apartment where daylight is not very often.

Do you have a favourite piece of furniture in your home?

– I came across a small black-painted side table in wood with fine details, probably around 30 years old or so, it works perfectly as a coffee table in our little lair.
