In the begining of this year (2013) i got to meet her for the first time, the Japanese artist Mogu Takahashi. She was going to have an exhibition in Fine Little Day’s studio with me in Gothenburg. I had booked a room for her at Konstepedemin and she borrowed a bike and cruised around the town.

Mogu is a person with a tremendous amount of energy. Spontaneous and playful, she throws herself over drawing, painting, sculpture and all sorts of other visual forms of expression. Always on the verge of naive and shrewd humor. She uses a lot of re-cultivated material and in general is a very charming and inspiring person. Just like her wallpaper – Mogu, the third design in the Curated by Fine Little Day collection.

The wallpaper Mogu with its beautiful, crazy mix of objects and characters fits well both in a children’s room and in a hallway, or even in an office.
